Teacher edition and assessment guides for elementary program
Mazer’s Role
In this unique endeavor, Mazer partnered with Harcourt to write, edit, copyedit, and factcheck three state-specific teacher editions and assessment guides for entry into North Carolina. Through strong collaboration and close coordination, Mazer wrote and edited more than 900 pages of teacher edition and assessment manuscript within a month’s time. Unlike traditional teacher editions, the North Carolina entry featured an increased emphasis on reading skills and strategies in an effort to fulfill state standards in both social studies and reading/language arts.
